1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Lumis AI ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all users of the App. Lumis is operated by Sokan Studio, Pennsylvania, USA.

2. Description of Service

Lumis is an AI-powered assistant app that provides conversational AI, web search, document analysis, image analysis, math solving, image generation, and other AI-powered features. The App uses third-party AI models and services to deliver these capabilities.

3. Account Registration

You may use some features of Lumis without an account. To access full features, you must create an account using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity that occurs under it.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

• Free plan — limited messages per conversation, access to basic features
• Lumis Pro — unlimited messaging (within fair use), access to all models, Deep Research, AI Copilot, Agent Mode, and all premium features
• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through the Apple App Store
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings
• We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods, except as required by applicable law

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Lumis to:

• Generate illegal, harmful, harassing, or abusive content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the service
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Generate spam, misinformation, or deceptive content at scale
• Attempt to extract API keys or bypass usage limits

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. AI-Generated Content

Lumis uses AI models to generate responses. You acknowledge that:

• AI responses may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information
• AI responses are not a substitute for professional advice (medical, legal, financial, etc.)
• You are responsible for how you use AI-generated content
• We do not claim ownership of content you create using Lumis

7. Intellectual Property

The Lumis app, its design, branding, and underlying technology are owned by Sokan Studio. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Lumis is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI responses will be accurate. Use the App at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sokan Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Lumis.

10. Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We'll provide reasonable notice of significant changes through the app or by email.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
